Que qui sóc?
Sóc Xavier Serra Oliva, i m’encanta el meu nom,
I m’encanten els meus cognoms. Me’n sento orgullós.
Però sóc un paio de poble que va néixer a la ciutat. I també me’n sento orgullós.
Però sóc el Xavi de Rubber, i també m’agrada molt ser-ho. Per que vol dir que faig la meva feina, la que sempre havia volgut fer, molt bé.
Però també sóc un Ford Fiesta. No el nou, no. El de la cançó. El del “mamón” que sofria. Forma part de la meva vida més que molts dels amics que he anat fent des que és amb mi, tot just fa vint anys.
Però també sóc un noi que ha rebut el regal més gran que es pot rebre, la vida. I dos cops. I si d’una cosa podeu estar segurs, és de que estic disfrutant la segona encara més del que vaig disfrutar la primera.
Però per damunt de tot sóc guia de ràfting. I ho sóc no només per que a l’aigua és on em sento millor, més viu, més fort, més segur,… sinó per que m’agrada conèixer gent nova cada dia. Gent de la que aprenc sense parar, d’on faig amics baixada rere baixada. I m’agrada fer-los disfrutar de l’aigua que tan m’agrada. I m’agrada quan tornen, potser anys després, i recorden haver fet ràfting amb un tal Xavi. Nom que m’agrada molt.
Sabíeu que Xavier s’escriu igual en tots els idiomes en què existeix excepte Basc i Castellà?
