If you are affected by unforeseen circumstances during the semester and are unable to pay the enrolment fee, please contact the Help Service.

From your next enrolment, we will provide you with a free insurance policy to cover unforeseen circumstances.

No additional action is needed on your part, if you enrol for a semester and reside in Spain, you will be eligible for cover. The insurance covers the proportional amount of the enrolment fee based on the moment during the semester the situation giving rise to the claim occurred.

The insurance policy covers:

  • Salaried employees who are subject to involuntary redundancy.
  • Civil servants, self-employed persons who suffer an accident or illness and employees with permanent contracts less than 6 months old.
  • Students without paid employment who are hospitalized due to an accident or illness (provided you are hospitalized for at least 15 days).

To be eligible you must reside in Spain, in other words, your National ID card (DNI) or Foreigner ID No. (NIE) must have a Spanish address.
