Put forward your innovative idea for #OPENeHEALTH Parkinson

21   June   2017

We're looking for innovative ideas in response to the OPENeHEALTH Parkinson challenge. The challenge, which has been set with help from patients, professionals and carers, is to develop an app that helps improve mobility, state of mind, and management of the medical treatment of Parkinson's patients.

The deadline for taking part is 14 July.

A collaborative virtual platform has been created for the ideas, which will also allow professionals from Hospital de Sant Pau and carers of Parkinson's patients to take part and offer their points of view.

The ten best ideas will be selected to enter the prototyping phase in accordance with the indications from the UOC's Faculty of Computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunications.

Finally, an assessment panel will select the best prototype which will be awarded 4,000 euros in cash and developed in collaboration with GMV.

OPENeHEALTH Parkinson is an open innovation programme organized by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), Hospital de Sant Pau and GMV. The aim is to improve the quality of life for Parkinson's patients through the participation of the UOC community and all those working with the disease.
