Open educational resources (OERs) are didactic modules, textbooks and other teaching and learning resources provided for free under a copyright licence that grants the user permission to engage in the '4 Rs': reuse, revision, remixing and redistribution.

To facilitate the use and reuse of these resources at the UOC, the Virtual Library has gathered them in a single place, along with explanations of open access and OERs, guidelines on how to create them, etc. The collection can also be used to access a variety of search engines and to search for OERs by subject area.
