Editorial Moll
Editorial Moll is a company founded in 1934 by philologist Francesc de B. Moll Casasnovas (1903-1991) as a continuation of the cultural work started in 1896 by Mgr Antoni M. Alcover Sureda (1862-1932) with the publication of the first volume of the Aplec de rondaies mallorquines [Collection of Majorcan Folktales], which now stretches to 24 volumes. The most important work carried out by these two philologists is the 10-volume Diccionari català-valencià-balear [Catalan-Valencian-Balearic Dictionary], an exhaustive inventory of the Catalan language started by Mgr Alcover in 1900 and completed by Francesc de B. Moll in 1962, work which also involved collaboration from Manuel Sanchis Guarner and Aina Moll Marquès.
