Final Continuada: (FC) = EC + Pr

EC = 70%

Pr = 30%

Notas mínimas:

· Pr = 5

· EC = 5

FC = 70%

PS = 30%

Notas mínimas:

· PS = 3,5

EX = 70 %

Pr = 30%

Notas mínimas:

· Pr = 5

FE = 65%

EC = 35%

Notas mínimas:

· EX = 4

Students who choose to take this course on a continuous assessment basis will have to complete the following tasks:

a) 5 compulsory activities (CAs, also known as PECs). Students will find more information about the assessable and non-assessable tasks into which each activity is subdivided in the "Aims and description" section of each CA. Students should complete at least 3 of the 5 CAs in order to obtain a final mark for continuous assessment. Otherwise, their grade will be "No presentado".

Students must submit CAs in accordance with deadlines to reach a passing mark. Activities submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

b) The oral presentation is an obligatory, assessable activity aimed at evaluating the students' oral command of the English language. Failing to do the oral presentation will result in the automatic failure of the course. Doing and passing the oral presentation is a necessary requirement to pass the course. More information on this activity will be provided when the course starts.

Students who do not reach a passing mark for the 5 CAs can resit this part of the course by doing the final exam. Failed or undelivered oral presentations cannot be redone.

c) All students are required to take a 60-minute written test (prueba de síntesis) at the end of the semester. Having passed the continuous assessment activities and the oral presentation is obligatory to be eligible to do the final test.

The final grade for the whole course will be calculated as follows:

a) Continuous assessment (70%)

a.1.) CAs (70%)

a.2.) Oral presentation (30%)

b) Test (30%)
