2.0 tools for language learning

UOC Centre for Modern Languages students have a series of online tools and resources to help them learn the language they have chosen with the utmost guarantees.

The tools available include Langblog, an audioblog that lets students record audio or video in response to the task set by the course instructor , or in response to previous interventions from classmates. At the end of the activity, the course instructor assesses each student’s pronunciation and fluency, adding pertinent comments.

Videoconferencing is also available for practising the language with the course instructor or other classmates in real time.

All these tools can be found in a single virtual place: SpeakApps. SpeakApps is an initiative led by the UOC that aims to promote Europe-wide use of 2.0 tools involving universities from Finland, Ireland, Netherlands and Poland.

Likewise, the UOC Virtual Campus offers all the resources necessary to reach your goals: access to the Library’s resources, continuous assessment from our course instructorsf, collaboration with your classmates in classrooms, etc.
