Dear all,
The three-year term in office for the elected representatives on the University Council and the Student Council is coming to an end.
It is now time to choose new representatives for the University Council, the Student Council, and the faculty committees. These bodies play a fundamental role in improving the University because they provide a forum where representatives of the students, and teaching and administrative staff can make their voices heard.
I am calling elections for the 50 student representatives on the Student Council and the 25 teaching staff representatives and 15 administrative staff representatives on the University Council.
I would like to take this chance to thank the representatives chosen three years ago for their excellent work. Their efforts have been vital in ensuring success in our ongoing quest for quality and excellence.
It now falls to you – students, and teaching and administrative staff – to choose new representatives for the next three years.
I encourage you to get involved in these elections whether as candidates or simply by voting between may 28 and 31.
