New welcome space for new students
Coinciding with the beginning of the campaign of access for new students, the UOC has launched a new welcome space for students enrolling for the first time in the University.
This space enables students to quickly learn about the University, the Virtual Campus, and the learning model. In this way, students can commence their studies at the UOC with complete certainty and confidence. This space, therefore, reinforces the welcoming task carried out by different University actors, such as counsellors or territorial network personnel, among others.
Although a similar space was already in existence, the new version incorporates important innovations such as multimedia resources, improved usability and accessibility and a design adapted to the new graphic style.
Moreover, this space, which until now was only available to students enrolled in bachelor’s degrees, university master’s degrees, undergraduate degrees, diploma programs, and engineering foundation degrees, is now open to all new students at the University, combining generic information and specific information for each type of studies.
