Over 40,000 students start the new semester
This semester, 40,285 students will study one of the first- and second-cycle, undergraduate or university master’s degree courses offered by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia, UOC). Of these, 22.6% (9,101) are students starting studies at the University for the first time.
The semester starts today for students on postgraduate courses. 2,300 students will start on one of the master’s degree, postgraduate or specialisation courses offered by the University.
Teaching for pre- and post-EHEA degrees, foundation degrees, diplomas and most the university master’s degrees began on 21 September. Last month also saw the start of teaching on the School of Languages courses. Specifically, 2,952 students started on one of the courses in Catalan, Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish. Finally, 742 are studying one of the subjects offered by the University @thenaeum.
