UOC graduate awarded 15th Xiquet Sabater grant
This year’s Xiquet Sabater grant for degree holders in Hotel and Tourism Management Studies was awarded to Georgina Inés Zahonero, graduate in the UOC’s Diploma in Tourism.
The objective of this grant, convened by the Central Costa Brava Hospitality and Tourism Association, is to improve the training of professionals in the sector, providing the maximum guarantee for the quality of the tourist offer and for the success of Catalan companies.
At the same time, this grant pays homage to Xiquet Sabater, one of the most emblematic hotel operators in Spain and president of the organisation for nearly eighteen years.
