Open Minds: the UOC’s social portal
The new Open Minds social portal is an arena for expression, creation, reflection, debate and exchange, to which the UOC wishes to contribute with its knowledge, expertise and talent.
Open Minds is designed for people who are determined to take the step towards a fairer, more equal, more sustainable world, people who believe in the strength of cooperation and the free exchange of knowledge. It seeks people everywhere who live on the Web, sharing creativity, imagination and hope and who face challenges trusting in lifelong learning.
The University is aware that today's world needs new attitudes and more creativity and, above all, universal access to knowledge and education. We want to contribute to that, that is why we have created Open Minds.
Created on the internet in 1995 and with a community of 200,000 students, graduates and entrepreneurs worldwide, the UOC is the first university of the universities of the future – universal, collaborative and bespoke, with a unique Virtual Campus and its own educational method adapted to you and the new knowledge society.
