New academic assessment regulation at the UOC

Starting last semester the UOC implemented a new academic assessment regulation, both in the area of official university qualifications and UOC-specific qualifications.

The aim of the new regulation is to bring the regulatory assessment framework up to date with the incorporation of the University in the European Higher Education Area and the coexistence of this model with current officially recognized qualifications. The regulation describes the different types of final tests at the UOC: validation tests, summary tests, final tests and exams. At the same time it also describes the system of final numerical qualifications, which beginning last semester are applied to bachelor’s degrees and official and UOC-specific master’s degrees in compliance with the regulatory framework in effect.

The regulations for academic assessment of university studies at the UOC can be accessed from any of the pages of the Virtual Campus Secretary's Office by following the link Regulations on the upper part of the page.
